Environmental Translation Services

A client based in Cornwall recently asked Tomedes to undertake a complex technical translation of an environmental document from English to German. The translation was for the manual relating to his solar panel product and contained a number of technical and environmental phrases.

We knew just the person to undertake the work – one of our leading translators and a passionate environmental campaigner based in Stuttgart. She was familiar both with the subject matter and the technical terms that the document contained, so was able to get to work immediately.

The client needed the job turned around within two weeks, which was a tall order given the extensive amount of text in the document. Still, Tomedes always aims to exceed every client’s expectations and we were pleased to produce the final translation within just eight working days. We allowed another day for our quality assurance team to proofread the translated manual to ensure the translation was flawless then handed it over to the client.
